Community involvement - P&C

At Terrigal Public School, we value working together with our families and community. Parents and carers are encouraged to get involved by joining our P&C or volunteering at school events and activities. Your time and support help make our school a warm, welcoming, and successful place for all students.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our incredible P&C is made up of friendly parents, carers, and community members who work tirelessly to raise funds and improve our school for our students. They work closely with the school to promote the best interests of our students and community.

Major initiatives of the P&C in recent years include fundraising for laptops, Smartboards, decodable readers and hands-on Mathematics resource kits. We are so grateful for everything our P&C do to make Terrigal Public School a great place to learn!

Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other families, get involved, and make a positive difference in our school’s future. We’d love to have you join us!

P&C meetings

P&C Meetings are held on Monday at 7pm in Week 3 and 8 of the school term in the staffroom.

Volunteer at our school

Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• helping in the canteen
• getting involved in the P&C
• listening to children read in the classroom
• volunteering on sports days and other school events
• helping supervise excursions.
