Terrigal Public School's library serves both the students and staff in a variety of ways. Reading for enjoyment is a focus, and to this end the library is stocked with a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles. Every class visits the Library each week for borrowing and teaching.
The library fosters a love of books and reading and provides lunchtime activities for students including games such as chess, jigsaws and puzzles, listening to stories and the opportunity to borrow and return items.
The library has a fully computerised circulation system allowing every student to borrow from the collection. Books can be borrowed for two weeks and can be renewed for longer if required. Students are asked to bring a library bag to protect books and to keep them in a safe place at home.
Terrigal Public School acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land, the Darkinjung people. We pay our respect to elders, past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
