Our school incorporates a support unit for students with disabilities. The support unit contains three classes which cater for students with autism, students with moderate intellectual disabilities and students with severe intellectual disabilities.
The support unit is seen as an integral part of our school and students participate in all school activities. Students are also integrated into mainstream classes for periods each week.
Students in the support unit follow an academic program to build skills and knowledge. They also participate in life skill training which includes cooking classes, shopping, and horse riding.
Admission to the support unit classes is via an application process through the Department of Education. Contact the school office for more information.
